VIDEO: Lisa Sthalekar steals hearts with her bat skills on the field

Former Australian women”s team skipper Lisa Sthalekar has seen middling the ball with the bat as a pastime.

The incident took place during the match between Windies and Scotland in the ICC WC qualifiers.

Lisa Sthalekar, a phenomenal All rounder bid adieu to cricket after her team clinched the 2013 ICC Women”s world cup. But her on-field skills still remains the same with the latest video tweeted by ICC.

She represented Australia in 125 ODI”s amassing 2700 runs and claiming 146 scalps. She is the first women”s cricketer to get the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets. Though she had represented in all formats of the game, her ODI stats are something she can cherish forever.

It is to be noted that Lisa sthalekar has been a permanent member of the commentary panel in the International arena.

Replying to the video, Lisa herself commented “Hahaha always good to practice. Thankfully I didn”t falter under the pressure”.
