The former India captain was recently at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru preparing for the ODI series against Sri Lanka scheduled to begin from Sunday. During his stay at the NCA, he along with Kedar Jadhav was seen taking part in an interactive session with the future coaches on behalf of Cricket Australia who is conducting a High-Performance Level 3 coaching program for the aspiring coaches.
In a recent video posted by the bcci.tv, Dhoni was seen talking about the how to bring out the natural game of a cricketer keeping things simple. He also discussed how sledding is not the only option to bring down an opponent team.
Talking at length he also insisted how thinking out of the box can sometimes unsettle the players from the opponent team. Citing Rohit Sharma’s example Dhoni admitted that his ability forced him to bring him as an opener who was not getting runs in the middle-order.
