VIDEO : Pollard became livid after Rakheem Cornwall’s self exit

The Caribbean Premier League saw a new a controversy with Kieron Pollard at the forefront of everything in a match between Barbados Tridents and St. Lucia Stars. Pollard expressed his annoyance to the opponent camp after their batsman Rakheem Cornwall decided to retire hurt.

The big man who scored his maiden fifty in T20’s walked off the field at the crucial juncture of the game when his team needed 49 runs from just 17 balls owing to tiredness bringing in Darren Sammy which kept the opponent captain Pollard fuming in anger. The hard-hitting batsman felt he cannot do justice to the increasing run rate so he decided to retire hurt.

Pollard was quick to express his displeasure and said that he shouldn’t be leaving the field as it was not an external injury. He went on and advised him to work on his fitness skills if he wants to make a name for himself in this discipline.

However, the tridents led by Pollard won the match by 29 runs.
