The Indian fans witnessed Sreesanth making a comeback to cricket in a local tournament. The ball swung and hit the stump. He returned to cricket pitch after a long time. He took the important catch during the 2007 World T20 win dismissing Misbah UL Haq to register a 5 run win over Pakistan. It was a memorable moment for Indian cricket.
Sreesanth was banned from the BCCI for match-fixing during the Indian Premier League 2013 edition. His last match in Indian colours was in 2011. On 13th September 2013, Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan were banned by the BCCI discipline committee. Sreesanth was playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

The Indian fast bowler has played a total of 27 Test matches, 53 One day Internationals and 10 T20Is matches for Team India. His ability to bowl with good pace and speed made him a dangerous bowler. He was seen padding for batting while, on the other hand, was seen bowling at full pace during his bowling days.
He dismissed the batsman with a peach of the delivery and the opposition team batsman confused hitting the stumps. In his 27 test matches so far, the Indian fast bowler has taken 87 wickets, in ODI’s he has taken 75 wickets and 7 wickets from 10 T20I matches. He was seen doing exercises and building his body.
Sreesanth was a part of the dance reality show on Television. He has worked in Hindi movie Aksar 2 and also acted in a Malayalam movie called Team 5.
On 25th March 2016, Sreesanth joined the BJP contesting the elections from Kerala Assembly from Thiruvananthapuram. He was warned many times on cricketing field for discipline. He remained out of the Indian team for 18 months.
