VIDEO: Team India Skipper Virat Kohli”s Reaction On South African fielding; Must Watch

The Indian captain Virat Kohli claps after Rohit Sharma being dropped by Shamsi on 96 in the 34th over. Rohit tried to play an uppercut shot off Rabada’s bowling and the left-handed bowler Shamsi could not take an easy chance.

Virat Kohli and the support staff reacted with relief. Rohit Sharma played a match-winning knock scoring 115 off 126 including 11 fours and 4 sixes. He took time initially and then showed his attacking strokeplay. It was an important knock by the 3-time double centurion in ODI cricket to play such a responsible knock.

Team India posted 274 for 7 in 50 overs with Dhawan scoring 34, Iyer 30, Rohit Sharma 115, Kohli 36. While chasing the South African batsmen were tested by Indian spin twins of Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav who picked 6 wickets between them. The hosts were bowled out for 201 in 42.2 overs giving team India their maiden ODI series win on South African shores.

Rohit Sharma scored his maiden ODI century on South African soil and made sure that team India posted 274 for 7 in 50 overs. From South Africa, Hashim Amla was the top scorer with 71. AB de Villiers could contribute much. Klassen also played well with 36 runs. The Chinamen bowler Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets for 57 runs and led to a historic series win in South African conditions.

Team India have strengthened their position as the number 1 ODI team in the world. It was a dominating performance by Men in Blue who outplayed hosts in all departments and deserved to be at top of rankings.
