VIDEO: Watch MS Dhoni bowl leg spin on South African tracks

Men in Blue would be looking to create history by winning the 5th ODI at St George’s, Port Elizabeth. Virat Kohli and Co are one step away from becoming the first Indian captain to win a bilateral series on South African shores. India’s record at St Geroge’s Park is not great losing all 4 matches that they have played on this ground.

In the previous match, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli added 158 runs for the second wicket. Rain arrived and momentum of the Indian team was lost. Men in Blue scored 289 for 7 in 50 overs. The spin twin who created damage in first 3 ODI’s, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were smashed all over the park by David Miller, Klassen and Andile Phehulkwayo who played with positive intent. South Africa won the match by 5 wickets via D/L method.

The 5th match between India and South Africa might be interrupted due to rain. Winning the toss and fielding first might be the best options. It is going to big challenge for team India to comeback after losing the 4th ODI at Johannesburg.

If India is to win the 5th ODI, then apart from Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli, rest of batting order must contribute to putting pressure on South African bowling attack. MS Dhoni made 42 off 43 and helped team India post 289 for 7.

After losing the 4th ODI at Johannesburg on 10th February, the Indian Cricket team were seen practicing hard ahead of 5th ODI at Port Elizabeth.   Former Indian captain MS Dhoni leg spinners to Dinesh Karthik in the nets while Axar Patel was also seen practicing. Also chief selector, Sarandeep Singh also bowled.
