Vinod Kambli’s Health Gets Worse; He Is Admitted To A Hospital In Thane

Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli is critical and has been rushed to the hospital as his health condition has worsened. The 52-year-old patient is still admitted in the hospital, he is currently undergoing several investigations to find out what caused his illness.

There has been a concern about Kambli’s health for some time now, the cricketer has not had an easy life; he has had some heart issues and mental health problems as well. In 2013 he reported having a heart attack that required angioplasty because of a blockage of two arteries. Kambli has not been shy to speak about his struggle with depression and alcoholism.

Lately, Kambli was in the news after paying tribute to close associate Ramakant Achrekar where he saw his childhood friend, Sachin Tendulkar. People called during the event, Kambli used a wheelchair; this was disturbing to most fans.

Vinod Kambli’s condition falls apart

Vinod Kambli, the former Indian cricketer, was admitted to the hospital late on Saturday night due to a worsening of his condition. He is currently in isolation, receiving all sorts of scans and is still in a very serious but manageable state.

The medical conditions of the patients have been closely observed and more particularly Doctors are observing Kambli’s health condition for quite some time. It is not the first time his health is a concern, but fans and fellow cricketers have shown great concern with his situation.

More importantly, cricketers who formed part of the Indian team to the 1983 World Cup have stepped ahead to help Kambli financially. The former cricketer has kindly agreed to receive help from other cricketers, which shows good fraternity within the cricket community.

More details of Kambli’s health problems have been in circulation, and it is good to note that ex-cricketers stand by their man in his time of health problems. Support from the cricket community remains as evidence that shows friendship and unity have never been eluted from the practice.
