Viral Video: Did Preity Zinta says this on Mumbai Indians after they failed to qualify?

Kings XI Punjab failed to make it to playoffs as they were trashed by Chennai Super Kings yesterday. Punjab became the first team failing to make it to playoffs after winning five out of their seven fixtures.

Meanwhile, their Co-owner Preity Zinta was seen ecstatic in the stands as Mumbai failed to defend their title. In a video released on Twitter, she was seen saying the words “I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals … really happy, ” to her fellow member. This video is going viral in the social media.

Though Karun Nair gave them a ray of hope by amassing a half-century, the bowlers weren”t able to restrict the Chennai batsmen inside 100 runs as they were knocked out by the Deepak Chahar”s blitz.

Kings XI Punjab failed miserably towards the end of the tournament as the entire squad heavily depended on KL Rahul and Gayle. Though Andrew Tye provided vital breakthroughs with the ball, lack of support from the other end allowed them to finish the season at the seventh position making them wait for their maiden title.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians were unsuccessful in defending their championship due to an inconsistent middle order and a parody of errors from the skipper Rohit Sharma. Pollard and Duminy weren”t able to justify their roles and this cost them a lot. This is just the fourth time Ambani owned franchise will not be in the playoffs.
