Virat Kohli was a proud man after team India turned things around at MCG and won the second Test. Nobody gave India a chance as the visitors were coming on the back of an embarrassing loss at Adelaide. Still, even after the loss in the first Test, Kohli believed that his side can bounce back even in his absence.
The team under Ajinkya Rahane did exactly that as team India produced a comeback for the ages. Kohli who has come back to India was thrilled after his side defied the odds and won a famous Test match. Kohli credited the entire Indian side and gave a special mention to stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane who led from the front in the second Test.

Rahane scored an outstanding century in the first innings and helped India get a lead above 100 runs. The visitors wrapped by the Test match early on Day 4 and won the boxing day Test by 8 wickets. After the victory, Kohli on his official Twitter account praised the effort of the side and want them to continue this momentum.

Meanwhile, this Test is certainly among the greatest ever wins of team India. They looked down an out after the drubbing at Adelaide but showed great determination and courage in the second Test to level the series.
Fitting it was skipper Rahane who hit the winning runs and was also adjudged the man of the match. Kohli will be wishing that India from here goes strength to strength and again win the Test series in Australia.
