Virat Kohli all set to lead Heart FC in Celebrity Clasico

The men in blue skipper Virat Kohli is all set to lead the heart FC against the All-Star FC in the Celebrity Clasico. However, this is not the first time that cricketers and Bollywood actors have come together to support a social cause with sports as a medium.

Earlier, in 2016 Virat Kohli Foundation played a charity match against Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Playing for Humanity’ which featured star players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Lokesh Rahul and others. Abhishek Bachchan’s side included actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Dino Morea and Shabir Ahluwalia to name a few. The action-packed game saw some brilliant goals from both the teams as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Star Sports confirmed the news of the Celebrity Clasico match by posting a video from their official Twitter account. They captioned it as, “You have seen @ImVKohli ruling the cricket field, now get set to watch him lead All Heart FC against All Stars FC in the Celebrity Clasico!”
