Virat Kohli And KL Rahul Share A Meal During The Rain Delay In The BGT 2024-25 3rd Test

Former India captain Virat Kohli and Karnataka batter KL Rahul were spotted sharing food during a rain break on Day 1 (Saturday, December 14) of the third Test in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at The Gabba, Brisbane.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first. Rain interrupted play after 5.3 overs, but action resumed within 30 minutes. During the brief delay, Kohli and Rahul were seen enjoying food together.

Following a disappointing 3-0 loss to New Zealand, India made a strong recovery in the opening Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth. Choosing to bat first, India was dismissed for just 150 runs.

Later, Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 100, securing his 30th Test century and setting Australia a daunting target of 534 runs. Australia was bowled out for 238, handing India a commanding 295-run victory.

In the second Test in Adelaide, Australia fought back strongly, dismissing India for just 180 in their first innings. Travis Head’s brilliant 140 helped Australia post 337, taking a critical 157-run lead.

India’s second innings also faltered, as they were dismissed for 175, setting a target of only 19. Australia comfortably chased it down, winning by 10 wickets and leveling the five-match series 1-1.
