Former Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is currently spending quality time away from cricket with his wife Anushka Sharma in London, United Kingdom. The talismanic run-scorer recently dined at an Indian restaurant in London with his wife.

The executive chef of the restaurant Surender Mohan took to his Twitter account to share a picture with Kohli and Sharma following their meal at Bombay Bustle. He mentioned hosting the two renowned personalities at the restaurant was an honour for him and wrote:

“Happy & honoured to have had the wonderfully warm and pride of India @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma dine with us @BombayBustle.”

Virat Kohli was last seen in action during the tour of England. He had a dismal campaign with the bat, failing to chip in with significant contributions. Later, he was rested for the entire series against West Indies, which is currently underway.

He is expected to return during the Asia Cup next month and is motivated to help India win the competition before heading to Australia for the T20 World Cup. Kohli was quoted as saying by Star Sports:

“My main aim is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup and for that, I am ready to do anything for the team.”

“After the West Indies tour, he will be going for all the series” – Pragyan Ojha on Virat Kohli

Former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha has dropped a huge update on Kohli’s future, saying that Kohli is going to play all the series in the build-up to the T20 World Cup and more. Speaking to Jamie Alter on his Glance chat show, The Alternate View, Ojha said:

“By comeback I am talking about getting runs. Once a batter of his calibre gets a few runs going, then things change drastically. And I am sure as I am hearing that after the West Indies tour, he will be going for all the series thereon. I don’t think he will take any breaks, which is a great thing. He should be doing that. I don’t think there is an issue in his skill or anything else.”

He added:

“He’s been batting brilliantly, but sometimes how you handle yourself mentally matters. Keep in mind the schedule. Look at Ben Stokes… he just said ‘boss, we’re not vehicles that you just put petrol and we start running’. At times his effects everybody. But I am saying that, Virat must play every chance he gets because if you don’t play how will you get the confidence?”
