Virat Kohli Enjoys Family Time In UK Amid IND vs AFG ODI Series

India star batter Virat Kohli was recently spotted enjoying family time in the UK during India’s ongoing ODI series against Afghanistan. The veteran batter is unavailable for the series after suffering a hamstring injury during the IPL 2026 final.

As he continues his recovery away from competitive cricket, Kohli returned to the UK and was seen spending time with his wife Anushka Sharma and their son Akaay. Kohli opted for a black shirt paired with beige trousers, while Anushka was dressed in a striped shirt and loose-fitting pants.

One of the highlights of the outing was Kohli carrying Akaay on his shoulders as the family enjoyed their time together. The former India captain appeared cheerful and relaxed, smiling while spending time with his son. Kohli and Anushka were also seen engaged in a casual conversation with a couple of companions during the outing.

Virat Kohli Played Crucial Role in RCB’s IPL 2026 Success

Much like IPL 2025, Virat Kohli played a pivotal role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title-winning campaign in IPL 2026. In the final against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, the star batter anchored the chase with an unbeaten 75 off 42 deliveries, guiding RCB to victory while chasing 156.

He finished fourth on the list of the tournament’s highest run-getters, behind Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. The 2026 season also saw Kohli achieve a historic milestone, becoming the first batter in IPL history to surpass 9,000 runs.

He now boasts 9,336 runs from 275 innings at an average of 40.41 and a strike rate of 134.79, along with nine centuries and 68 fifties.
