“He Always Prefers To Be With His Teammates In The Economy Class” – Vivek Razdan On Why Virat Kohli Avoid Business Class In Flights

Virat Kohli is one of the greatest players to ever grave the game of cricket. He is one of the most highly valued players according to Forbes magazine. He is married to popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for over four years now and has a kid called Vamika as well.

Since Virat Kohli is one of the most famous and richest players in the world, you must feel that he would be travelling through business class every time he boards a flight. This is not even remotely true as Virat Kohli has never seen to have travelled through the business class.

Whenever the Indian team travels for matches, two seats in the business class have always been reserved for the coach and the captain. Vivek Razdan while talking to Sports Keeda said:

“In a flight, two seats are reserved in business class – one for the captain and one for the coach. But I have never seen Virat Kohli travel in business class during a flight. He always prefers to be with his teammates in the economy class. Apart from the coach, there was always a bowler occupying one of the business class seats. It was either Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami or, sometimes, Ravichandran Ashwin.”

“He felt that since the bowlers worked extremely hard on the ground, so at least for three-four hours, they could relax,” he added further.

These things say a lot about the character and attitude of Virat Kohli as a player and as a captain. Even though Virat isn’t the captain now neither of India nor of RCB, he is still a leader for his team, on and off the field.

“Pull Out Of The IPL, For All You Care” – Ravi Shastri to Virat Kohli

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season as he has just managed 128 runs in nine games. He bagged two golden ducks in consecutive ducks before scoring only nine runs in their last fixture against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri has once again reiterated that Kohli needs to take a break from cricket to revive his lost form. Speaking on Jatin Sapru’s YouTube channel, the 59-year-old said:

“I think a break is ideal for him because he has played non-stop cricket and he has captained the side across all formats. It will be wise of him to take a break. You know, sometimes you have to draw the balance. This year he is already into the tournament (IPL 2022), tomorrow if push comes to shove and you want to prolong your international career and make a mark there for 6-7 years, pull out of the IPL, for all you care.”
