Virat Kohli is a little impulsive captain – Ashish Nehra

In the latest, he expressed his opinion on Virat Kohli as a player and a skipper. He called Kohli as the best in the world as far as his batting is concerned. However, when it comes to captaincy, Ashish Nehra feels Kohli is still a work in progress. He further calls him an impulsive captain.

Ashish Nehra was in conversation with Aakash Chopra on the latter’s YouTube channel where he acknowledged that Virat Kohli needs no introduction as a player as his career graph tells the entire story.

“Virat Kohli as a player needs no recognition as his career graph tells the entire story. Kohli as a player has done amazingly well, in captaincy I still feel he is a work in progress. I can say he is a little bit impulsive captain,” Nehra told Chopra on YouTube.

The former left-arm pacer said Kohli should continue to be aggressive on the field as it brings the best out of him but should be careful with his decision making. He believes the current Indian skipper can help India lift an ICC trophy in the near future.
