Virat Kohli is currently gearing up for the much-anticipated upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE. In the fast few weeks, Kohli along with his entire RCB squad has been practising with proper match intensity. The training base of the popular franchise is now shifted to the iconic Sharjah cricket stadium where have their net sessions and also play some football for their warm-up.

The RCB skipper is a football enthusiast and is often seen flaunting his skills in practice sessions. After Kohli posted a photo of himself playing football with his RCB teammates he received huge praises from none other than Harry Kane. The England football captain Kane, complimented Kohli’s technique after he was seen beating two defenders.

Harry Kane is currently busy with England in their ongoing Nations League campaign. He commented on Kohli’s Instagram post and wrote, “Nice technique right there”.



Meanwhile, Kohli too saw the footballer’s comment and replied him back “haha thanks, mate. Coming from a technically gifted player like yourself, I know it’s legit observation,” wrote Kohli.

The two prominent athletes have always had a great mutual admiration for one another’s game. After Kohli’s heroics against Australia in the 2016 T20 world cup, Kane could not hold himself and lauded the star cricketer for his ability to take his side home in big matches. Then finally in 2018, the two met while India was touring England. They also shared photos and videos on their social media handles.

Moreover, Virat Kohli will return to action in the IPL 2020 where he will once again be leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli’s side will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening encounter on 21st September at Dubai. The season will kick off from September 19 with defending champs Mumbai Indians locking horns with the Chennai Super Kings.
