Virat Kohli responds to the post on MS Dhoni and the retirement buzz

Indian skipper Virat Kohli responded on his latest social media post alongside MS Dhoni. Kohli cherished a memory where both of them played a vital role in sealing a win against the kangaroos in WT20 2016. But, fans took this picture in an unexpected manner. They sensed that retirement news is on the way and that would be the reason behind Kohli”s post.

The post created such a buzz on social media and many tags thanking MS Dhoni went viral. However, Sakshi Dhoni thrashed the rumours on her Instagram handle.

In the pre-match conference ahead of the T20I series against the Proteas, Virat Kohli responded on this buzz. He said, “I did not have anything on my mind, I was just sitting at my home and I just uploaded the picture. It became news, it is a lesson for me about what I think about myself, the world does not necessarily see it that way. That game is very special, I have not openly talked about it so that is why I uploaded the picture but people took it otherwise.

MS Dhoni isn”t a part of the T20I series against the Proteas. He is still unavailable for the selections and currently on a break. Last month, he spent some time with the Indian army. While most of the fans were waiting to see him play in the home series, they were left disappointed.

The home season

The three-match T20I series against South Africa is all set to commence tomorrow at Dharamsala.

Overcast conditions are expected to create an impact during the game. The sides limited to the indoor practice and none of the players were spotted at the ground today.
