Team India’s ace batter Virat Kohli is likely to turn out for Delhi in another match of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26. The 37-year-old has already represented his side in the first two games of the 50-over domestic competition. As per a report from Cricbuzz, a senior official of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) confirmed that Kohli will be available for Delhi’s league encounter against Railways at the KSCA Ground in Alur on January 6.
Following that fixture, the experienced campaigner will link up with the Indian squad in Baroda for the upcoming three-match home ODI series against New Zealand. The ODI series will get underway at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on January 11. The remaining two matches are scheduled to be held at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on January 14 and the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on January 18.
While Virat Kohli could feature in another game of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26, the report indicated that Rohit Sharma is unlikely to play any further matches in the tournament. Representing Mumbai, Rohit smashed a blistering 155 off 94 deliveries in their opening fixture against Sikkim at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
However, he endured a contrasting outing at the same venue in the next match, getting out for a golden duck against Uttarakhand.
