Wasim Jaffer Uniquely Praises Ravindra Jadeja After His Magical Throw To Get Steve Smith Out

Former Team India opener Wasim Jaffer praised Ravindra Jadeja uniquely following his magical piece of fielding which got Steve Smith out following his brilliant century. Meanwhile, Jadeja starred as India bowled out Australia for 338 runs in the first innings of the 3rd Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The ace all-rounder provided India with the major breakthrough removing Marnus Labuschagne nine short of his century. Jadeja backed it up with the wicket of Matthew Wade before Jasprit Bumrah trapped Cameron Green right in front with the new ball.

Bumrah’s brilliance continued with the new ball as he cut Aussie skipper Tim Paine into two halves to rattle his timber. While wickets tumbled on from the other end, Steve Smith held one fort knocking the Indian bowlers. Soon after reaching his first century of the year, Smith shifted gears taking on the Indian bowlers. He smashed a couple of boundaries of Navdeep Saini and Ravindra Jadeja before a brilliant piece of fielding ended his 226-ball vigil in the crease.

Wasim Jaffer praises Ravindra Jadeja

The talismanic run-scorer pushed one short of a good length delivery from Jasprit Bumrah into the on-side backward of square off the inner edge. He tried to keep the strike coming back for a second. But, he fancied his chance against the wrong man. Ravindra Jadeja ran to his right from square leg, picked the ball, and hits the bulls-eye at the striker’s end to catch the centurion short of his crease.

Jadeja’s brilliant throw to hit bullseye set the internet on fire. Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his unique tweets, came up with a hilarious dialogue from a Hindi movie to praise Ravindra Jadeja.

“Cheete ki chaal, baaz ki nazar aur @imjadeja ke throw par sandeh nahi karte,” Wasim Jaffer wrote on the microblogging site.
