Former India opening batsman Wasim Jaffer is back yet again with another tweet that requires decoding. As we all are aware of how Wasim Jaffer has shown us in the recent past that apart from a prolific run-scorer, he is also great with memes on the internet. As we witnessed throughout the IPL, how Jaffer would find a meme for every situation. This time as well Jaffer came up with a tweet for Rishabh Pant on how to get David Warner out.
David Warner hasn’t featured in the ongoing Test series between India and Australia as he’s been nursing an injury he sustained during the limited-overs leg of the series. With Warner deemed fit to play in the 3rd Test at Sydney, He’s all set to replace Joe Burns as the opening batsman of the side, subsequently, Will Pucovski will also mark his return after sustaining a concussion during the warm-up match against India.
Wasim Jaffer Shares Strategy To Get David Warner Out
Wasim Jaffer in a hilarious manner asked Pant to sing the famous Telugu song ‘Butta Bomma’ just so the left-hander gets distracted and gets him stumped out. Jaffer’s reason behind such a tweet holds relevancy to a TikTok video uploaded by David Warner in April 2020 where he was seen dancing to the beats of Butta Bomma. It was later seen that the Actor who featured in the song praised David Warner for being able to perfectly replicate the original steps in the song.
The former India player also tagged Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in the same tweet as Jaffer expects that once Pant starts singing the song behind the wickets, Warner would dance down the track to the spinners Ashwin and Jadeja resulting in a stumping opportunity.
He captioned the picture and wrote, “Easy one for you @RishabhPant17 #decode #AUSvIND Cc: @ashwinravi99 @imjadeja.“

Meanwhile, both Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have looked outstanding in the test series. With 10 wickets, Ashwin is the highest wicket-taker of the series ahead of the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc whereas Ravindra Jadeja scored an impactful knock of 57 runs in the 2nd Test in addition to picking three key wickets in the only game he’s played in this series.
