[WATCH]- Ambati Rayudu Criticizes RCB Again With Comment About ‘Individual Milestones’

Since the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were eliminated from IPL 2024 after their loss to the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator, several remarks by Ambati Rayudu have upset RCB and their fans. On Friday, the retired Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman made another critical comment in a social media post.

“My heart truly goes out to all the reb supporters who have passionately supported the team over the years. If only the management and the leaders had the teams interests ahead of individual milestones…rcb would have won multiple titles,” Rayudu wrote.

Notably, RCB’s star player Virat Kohli tops the season’s run-scorers list with 741 runs in 15 innings. However, despite 17 seasons with the franchise, he has yet to win an IPL trophy.

“Just remember how many fantastic players have been let go off. Force your management to bring players who will put team’s interests first. A great new chapter can start from the mega auction,” Rayudu suggested the RCB management.

Rayudu was a member of the title-winning CSK team in his final season with the franchise in 2023 before retiring. This victory marked CSK’s fifth IPL title, tying them with the Mumbai Indians for the most championships.

Ambati Rayudu aimed his criticism at the management of the RCB

A video of Ambati Rayudu expressing disappointment when RCB eliminated CSK became popular online, leading to fans mocking him for his previous remarks. Yet, when Bengaluru faced elimination, Rayudu shared a video on Instagram featuring him and his CSK teammates from IPL 2023, gesturing the number ‘five’.

Rayudu likely aimed to remind RCB fans that CSK had won five trophies.
