In a surprising twist, an RCB enthusiast encountered SRH captain Pat Cummins at a Hyderabad shopping mall and taunted him with RCB chants. Pat Cummins, the Australian World Cup-winning skipper, is currently at the helm of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in what could be a promising IPL campaign.
With 10 points from 9 matches, SRH currently holds the fourth spot on the points table, with five games remaining in the season. That said, before the home match against Rajasthan Royals, SRH skipper Pat Cummins decided to unwind from the busy league schedule with a leisurely walk at a Hyderabad shopping mall.
However, as Cummins became recognizable to fans in the mall, they enthusiastically cheered with SRH chants, giving the Australian player a warm welcome. Yet, amidst the positive reception, one fan opted to taunt the SRH captain.
While other fans were loudly chanting for SRH, one individual singled out Pat Cummins with RCB chants, which the fast bowler appeared not to notice. The RCB supporter captured in the footage took advantage of the moment to ridicule the SRH captain, possibly motivated by the competitive atmosphere of the IPL.

While friendly banter and light-hearted interactions among fans are typical, this particular occurrence appears to have overstepped boundaries by singling out a particular player rather than concentrating on on-field proceedings.
However, Pat Cummins appeared to be buoyed by the SRH chants and chose to ignore the teasing. Meanwhile, following a brief respite, SRH will resume action against RR in Hyderabad on Thursday.
