[WATCH]- Arshdeep Singh Dismisses Reeza Hendricks For A Duck With A Stunning Delivery In The IND Vs SA 4th T20I

India‘s Arshdeep Singh gave the Men in Blue a perfect start against South Africa in the fourth and final T20I in Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. The visitors set a daunting target of 283 runs for the hosts. Hendricks was dismissed for a two-ball duck as South Africa lost their first wicket in the opening over of the chase.

The wicket came on the third delivery of the Proteas’ innings, with Arshdeep bowling a back-of-a-length delivery outside off that curved in sharply, hitting the top of the off and middle stumps. Hendricks was caught on the crease while attempting to cut the ball.

With the dismissal, Arshdeep Singh maintained his reputation for taking early wickets in the series. He claimed two more wickets in the following over, bringing his tally to 95, just one short of Yuzvendra Chahal’s 96, as he moved closer to becoming India’s highest wicket-taker in T20Is.

Arshdeep Singh Aids India in Dominating South Africa in 4th T20I

A superb bowling performance by Arshdeep Singh enabled India to maintain their control over South Africa in the fourth T20I. At the time of writing, the hosts were struggling at 40/4 after seven overs, with Tristan Stubbs and David Miller at the crease.

Batting first, India posted an imposing 283/1 in their 20 overs. Tilak Varma led the charge with an unbeaten 120 off 47 balls, including 10 sixes and nine boundaries. Samson also remained not out on 109 from 56 balls, hitting nine sixes and six boundaries.

The pair set a new record for the highest partnership for India in T20Is, putting on 210 runs for any wicket. Abhishek Sharma contributed a quick 36 off 18 balls, with four sixes and two boundaries. Lutho Sipamla was the only bowler to take a wicket for South Africa.

Suryakumar Yadav and his team are currently leading the T20I series 2-1, having won the first and third matches by 61 and 11 runs, respectively. South Africa claimed victory in the second game by three wickets.

The Men in Blue are on the cusp of securing their fourth consecutive T20I series win since the 2024 T20 World Cup. They have triumphed over Zimbabwe (4-1), Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh (both 2-1).
