T20 Blast is the franchise T20 cricket tournament in England. Several county teams face each other to win this title. Many exciting T20 cricketers like Liam Livingstone, Tim David, Chris Lynn are playing in the ongoing season of T20 Blast. Chris Lynn is representing Northamptonshire in the T20 Blast.

Chris Lynn is famous for his explosiveness with the bat in T20 format. He is famous for the muscle power and gigantic sixes he has hit in the past. In the match between Northamptonshire and Durham, Lynn smashed a monstrous six which went out of the stadium and reached the garden of a house. 

CCTV footage posted by the resident showed that the six landed in the backyard of a  resident’s house. Cricket fans were awestruck with this power hitting by the Australian opener. Chris Lynn played a brilliant knock of 86 runs in 43 balls which helped Northamptonshire post a total of 223 runs while batting first.

This knock of Lynn comprised 4 fours and 8 sixes. Chris Lynn formed a 149 runs partnership with opening partner Ben Curran. Lynn made a great comeback on the cricket field with this amazing knock. 

Northamptonshire registers their first win of T20 Blast 2022

Northamptonshire would hope Lynn to provide impactful starts in the powerplay. Chris Lynn was also not retained by his Big Bash League franchise Brisbane Heat for BBL 2022. This ended the 11 years association between Brisbane Heat and Chris Lynn.

Northamptonshire won this match with a comfortable margin of 31 runs. Durham couldn’t chase the mammoth target of 224 runs. Northamptonshire bowlers Freddie Heldreich , Matt Kelly and Josh Kobb did a great job to restrict Durham batsman in this run chase. This was the first win of Northamptonshire in this season.
