Former India captain Virat Kohli is presently dedicated to rigorous training to uphold his peak physical condition during his break from the game. Despite featuring in the Test and ODI matches against the West Indies last month, the 34-year-old was not included in the T20I lineup.
During two Test matches facing the West Indies, Kohli achieved a total of 197 runs in his two innings, maintaining an impressive average of 98.50. This included both a century and a half-century. However, he didn’t have an opportunity to bat during the initial ODI.
The team management decided to give him and Rohit Sharma a break for the last two ODIs. Consequently, Kohli spent a significant portion of the ODI series on the sidelines in the dressing room before heading back home. He’s set to make his comeback to the field in the beginning of the upcoming month for the Asia Cup 2023. On Tuesday, Virat Kohli utilized his official Instagram account to provide a sneak peek into his workout regimen by sharing a reel.
He captioned the reel: “Chutti hai fir bhi bhaagna toh padega 😁🏃“
