[WATCH]- DC Youngster Spotted Having A Chat With Virat Kohli After RCB vs DC Clash

Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner Vipraj Nigam had a chat with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli after their IPL 2025 match in Bengaluru on April 10. It was Vipraj’s first time bowling to Kohli in the IPL, during RCB’s innings. After a tight first over, Kohli launched a huge six over long-on in Vipraj’s second over.

But the young spinner held his nerve and outsmarted the veteran just three balls later, dismissing him for 22 off 14 balls. The breakthrough was important, helping DC limit RCB to a modest total of 163/7 in their 20 overs. DC chased it down with ease, winning in the 18th over with six wickets in hand.

A day after the match, Vipraj shared a video of his post-match conversation with Virat Kohli on his Instagram, along with the caption:

“Its not a destination , its a Jouney . Dream on >>>3.”

Vipraj impressed with a tidy 2/18 in four overs, triggering RCB’s middle-order collapse. The 20-year-old has started his debut IPL season strongly with five wickets in four games. He also made an impact with the bat, scoring a crucial 39 in DC’s opening win against LSG.

Vipraj’s brilliant performance played a key role in keeping DC’s unbeaten streak alive in IPL 2025

Vipraj Nigam’s impressive bowling played a key role in securing DC’s fourth straight win at the start of their IPL 2025 campaign. After three strong victories, DC faced early trouble against RCB, who raced to 61/0 by the fourth over. Despite the shaky start, Axar Patel’s side remained composed and pulled things back well, eventually restricting RCB to a below-par 163/7 in their 20 overs.

In response, DC stumbled early, losing four wickets for just 58 runs within the first nine overs. However, KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs steadied the innings with an unbeaten 111-run partnership off only 55 balls. Rahul earned Player of the Match honors for his unbeaten 93 off 53 deliveries, guiding DC to a comfortable six-wicket win.

The victory kept DC in second place on the points table, just behind Gujarat Titans (GT), who also have eight points but a superior net run rate. Notably, DC has played one game fewer and remains the only unbeaten team in the tournament.
