[Watch]- Deepak Chahar Makes Surprise Appearance In Ranji Trophy Final; Crowd Chants “CSK , CSK”

Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh are facing each other in the final of 2022 season of Ranji trophy at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. BCCI made it free to enter the stadium for the Ranji Trophy final in Bangalore. Due to this, a huge crowd came to watch the match.

Indian pacer Deepak Chahar too made a surprise appearance near the boundary ropes in the Ranji trophy final. Crowd was very excited to see Deepak in Chinnaswamy stadium. Crowd acknowledged the presence of Deepak Chahar with chants of “CSK , CSK….CSK”.

It created an amazing atmosphere during the final. Deepak Chahar too returned the acknowledgement by waving towards the crowd. Earlier during the match, the crowd also chanted “RCB , RCB , RCB” when Rajat Patidar was batting.

Currently Deepak Chahar is going through his rehabilitation program in National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He suffered a serious injury during the T20I series against West Indies in February. Since then he has missed the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season and all the T20I matches. 

“It will take another five weeks”- Deepak Chahar talks about his recovery

Recovery of Deepak Chahar took more time than expected. During the recovery, he also faced a back injury which ruled him out of the IPL. Deepak Chahar feels that it will take five weeks more for him to get match fit. Chahar also feels that he will need to play club matches to get the rhythm.

Deepak Chahar said: “I am bowling four to five overs at one go as per my rehab programme right now. My recovery is going pretty well and I think it will take another four to five weeks for me to get match fit. It’s a step-by-step process as far as recovery is concerned.”
