Chennai Super Kings (CSK) posted the video of star Kiwi opener Devon Conway and other players dancing, wearing a traditional Tamil Dhoti. Despite a poor start to their IPL 2022 campaign, the mood in the camp seems to be light and players are relaxed.

New Zealand and Chennai Super Kings batter Devon Conway seemed to be enjoying his new and first-ever IPL franchise as he recently shook a leg on ‘Arabic Kuthu,’ a popular song from Tamil superstar Vijay’s latest movie ‘Beast.’ Conway appeared to be relishing this segment, with his CSK teammates N Jagadeesan and C Hari Nishaanth, while all three wearing a traditional Tamil Dhoti.

CSK shared a video of three dancing, on their social media handles. They wrote, “It’s #Arabickuthu time for the Kiwi and Kovai, with the Kiwi denoting the New Zealander and Kovai denoting the Coimbatore boys.”

Incidentally, CSK bought Devon Conway for INR 1 crore, in the IPL 2022 auction. They also bought back N Jagadeesan and C Hari Nishaanth. Conway played CSK’s opening game against KKR, as an opener alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad. He couldn’t get a spot in playing XI, since then.

CSK bounce back after four defeats on the trot

Considering CSK’s performance in IPL 2022, the team has managed to win only one match in five matches played. With the best efforts from Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube, CSK won the match against RCB. They set the massive target of 217 runs, which RCB failed to conquer and CSK won the game by 23 runs. Besides, the bowling unit has seemed to be struggling, in Deepak Chahar’s absence.

Currently, CSK is in the ninth position in the points table, with just two points in their account. To earn more, they will have to fight one of the hardest to overcome, Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans, on Sunday, April 17.
