[Watch] From Ravi Shastri To Eoin Morgan: ICC Announces An Elite Commentary Panel For 2022 T20 World Cup

The 2022 T20 Men’s World Cup got underway on October 16 at the Simonds Stadium in Geelong with Sri Lanka vs Namibia match in the Qualifiers round. A few hours before the match, the International Cricket Council took to social media to announce a star-studded commentary panel for the marquee tournament.

The International Cricket Council shared a fun and quirky video on Twitter to announce the panel. The video begins with two former Australian cricketers Mel Jones and Adam Gilchrist talking with each other on the phone. Later in the video, through a Whatsapp group chat, the list of the commentators is revealed.

Former Indian cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri along with Harsha Bhogle will be a part of the commentary panel. The video also featured the likes of Danny Morrison, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke, Dirk Nannes, Dale Steyn, and Simon Doull.

Eoin Morgan, and Carlos Braithwaite join the commentary panel for T20 World Cup

Former England skipper Eoin Morgan will be a part of the commentary team for the 2022 T20 World Cup. Along with him, Carlos Braithwaite will also grace the commentary box. The experts will provide their opinion throughout the event in Australia from 16 October to 13 November.

The International Cricket Council, through ICC TV, will provide coverage of all the matches live. This coverage will include a pre-match show, an innings interval fill, and a post-match wrap-up, with experts sharing their thoughts on the tournament.
