Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen at Jamnagar Airport on Sunday, January 4, accompanied by his girlfriend, model Mahieka Sharma. A video circulating on social media also showed India captain Rohit Sharma in the company of the seam-bowling all-rounder.
Hardik, who made his relationship with Mahieka public in October 2025, had featured a day earlier in the 2025–26 Vijay Hazare Trophy clash between Baroda and Vidarbha in Rajkot. The Baroda-born cricketer starred with the bat, smashing a 92-ball 133 that included eight boundaries and 11 sixes, helping Baroda post 293 in their allotted 50 overs.
Despite his heroics, Aman Mokhade’s brilliant 150 guided Vidarbha to a commanding nine-wicket win. You can watch the airport video here:

Hardik Pandya Likely To Be Rested For New Zealand ODI Series
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah have been rested for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, which gets underway on January 11 in Vadodara. In an official release, the BCCI clarified that Pandya is currently not fit to bowl a full quota of 10 overs. However, the seam-bowling all-rounder will return for the five-match T20I series against the Black Caps, starting on January 21.
Currently ranked fourth in the ICC T20I all-rounder standings, Pandya was in sensational form during India’s T20I series against South Africa, earning multiple Player of the Match honours. He began the series in style at Cuttack, scoring an unbeaten 59 off 28 balls on a challenging pitch and also claiming a wicket while defending 175, as India registered a commanding 101-run victory.
Pandya saved his most destructive outing for the final T20I in Ahmedabad, where he smashed 63 off just 25 balls to power India to 231/5 before adding another wicket to cap off a stellar all-round performance. The star all-rounder remains central to India’s hopes of retaining the T20 World Cup, having played a key role in their 2024 triumph over South Africa in the final.
