Watch – Hardik Pandya Takes A Stunning Catch During Training In Ahmedabad

Ace Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been warming the bench in the ongoing Test series against England but he has been setting the training grounds on fire. On February 28 (Sunday), Hardik was seen taking an electrifying catch during a training session at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Pandya was included in the Test side after a long haul which kept him out of the cricket. Although he returned to limited-overs cricket during the tour of Australia but was not picked for the Tests mostly because of his inability to bowl as he chose to give his back more rest considering the ICC T20 World Cup to follow later this year in India.

However, Hardik Pandya is sweating out in the training sessions with the coaches. On Saturday, Hardik shared a series of posts on his Instagram story where he can be seen working with fielding coach R Sridhar. In one of the videos, the all-rounder can be seen plucking a stunning catch on the boundary rope. Hardik grabbed a one-handed beauty while his body was still in the air just meters away from the boundary line.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya bowled only one over in the limited-overs series against Australia and mentioned that he is keeping his back ready for the big tournament which will follow. Incidentally, the dashing all-rounder also didn’t roll his arms for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020.

It remains to be seen if Hardik Pandya resumes bowling if he gets a nod for the fourth Test against England scheduled to commence on February 4 (Thursday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Virat Kohli & Co are currently leading the four-match series 2-1 after thrashing England by 10 wickets within two days in Ahmedabad’s world’s largest cricket stadium.
