England currently lead the five-match series 2-1 and need just one more victory to secure the inaugural Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. In the ongoing fourth Test, Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to bowl first.
On Day 1, Sai Sudharsan (61 off 151) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (58 off 107) scored solid half-centuries, helping India close the day at 264/4. However, the visitors had a rough start to Day 2, losing Ravindra Jadeja early in the second over, with Harry Brook playing a crucial part in the dismissal.

India’s in-form all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja fell early on Day 2 to England pacer Jofra Archer. The left-hander managed to add only one run to his overnight score of 19 before getting out. Archer delivered a superb away-swinger that caught Jadeja off guard.
The batter was squared up while attempting a defensive shot, resulting in a thick outside edge that carried to the slip cordon. Positioned at second slip, Harry Brook leapt to his right to take a stunning catch, helping Jofra Archer provide an early breakthrough for England, courtesy of Brook’s reliable hands.
With the bat, Brook has also been a key performer for England in the series. He is currently their second-highest run-getter, having scored 314 runs in six innings at an impressive average of 52.33. His standout performance came in the second Test, where he scored a brilliant 158.
