[WATCH]- Harshit Rana’s Outstanding Diving Catch Dismisses Aryan Juyal In The 2024 Duleep Trophy Match

On Day 3 of their ongoing 2024 Duleep Trophy match on Saturday, September 7, India D seamer Harshit Rana made a spectacular catch to dismiss India C batter Aryan Juyal. The match is taking place at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur.

The dismissal happened on the first ball of the 39th over when Arshdeep Singh delivered a full, wide ball outside off-stump. Aryan Juyal tried to cut it but edged it into the air. Harshit Rana, stationed at deep point, sprinted in and executed a superb diving catch to remove the right-handed batter.

Juyal had played a solid innings, making 47 runs off 74 balls, including three boundaries and one six, before becoming Arshdeep’s first wicket.

India C began solidly while chasing a target of 233 runs reaching a total of 50 runs in just 6.3 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sai Sudharsan who opened the innings contributed 64 runs from 67 deliveries before the latter was removed by Saransh Jain at 22 off 34 balls.

After hitting eight boundaries, Ruturaj was dismissed for 46 from 48 balls. For the third wicket, Aryan Juyal and Rajat Patidar added 88 runs off 141 balls before Saransh got rid of Patidar who had scored 44 off 77 balls with six boundaries and one six.

Then, Aryan soon fell to Arshdeep for scoring 47 off 74 balls. First innings hero Baba Indrajith managed only seven runs from 28 deliveries before becoming Saransh’s fourth victim.

In the tea break on Day 3 India C was at 198/6 in 53 overs with Abishek Porel (21*) and Manav Suthar (0*) batting together. They require another 35 runs to win with four wickets left in their hands.

Prior to this match Shreyas Iyer (54) and Devdutt Padikkal (56) both scored fifties in the second innings that saw India D set a target of running total of 233.
