[Watch] “I Am Very, Very Happy For You”-Ravindra Jadeja’s Heartfelt Message To Ravichandran Ashwin For His Test Milestones

Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja sent his best wishes to his long-time spin partner Ravichandran Ashwin, who recently reached the 500-wicket milestone and also played his 100th international Test. Ashwin achieved both feats during the concluded five-match Test series against England, which ended on March 9 in Dharamshala.

The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association honored Ravichandran Ashwin for his outstanding accomplishments on Saturday in Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja conveyed his good wishes to the seasoned off-spinner during the event via a video message.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared the video on X, offering a glimpse to everyone. In the video, Jadeja expressed:

“Hi, Ash Anna, congratulations on your 100th Test match and 500 Test wickets. I am very, very happy for you. Your contribution to Indian cricket has been amazing.”

He added:

“I hope you continue to take a lot of wickets and also keep sharing your mastermind with me so that I can also take a few wickets and become a great legend like you. We also share the same name as well. I am Ravi Indran and you’re Ravi Chandran.”

Ravindra Jadeja started training with the CSK team on March 15 to begin their preparations for IPL 2024

After taking a brief break following the intense five-match Test series against England, Jadeja recently joined the CSK camp in Chennai to start getting ready for IPL 2024.

CSK will face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening match of IPL 2024 on March 22 at the Chepauk Stadium. Below is the schedule for CSK’s first four matches in IPL 2024 (all times in IST):

March 22: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, 8:00 PM

March 26: Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, 7:30 PM

March 31: Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, 7:30 PM

April 5: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, 7:30 PM
