[Watch] “If Given The Ability To Read Minds, Will Get Into MS Dhoni’s Mind” – Dinesh Karthik Plays A Fun ‘This Or That’ Game

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has returned to the Indian team after a gap of three years

Indian wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik engaged in a fun ‘This or That’ game ahead of the second T20I against South Africa. Karthik made a comeback to the Indian T20I team on Thursday at the Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi.

Dinesh Karthik performed brilliantly in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 edition. In sixteen matches, the right-handed batter scored 330 runs at an average of 55 and a strike rate of 183.33. He played the finisher’s responsibility brilliantly, which earned him a national comeback call.

On Sunday, the BCCI uploaded a video on social media featuring Dinesh Karthik. The veteran batter played a fun ‘This or That’ game. Karthik picked Team dinners over Movie nights with the team. He said, “Team dinner. I like team dinners a lot.”

“Tea. Over the period of time, when you travel especially in other parts of India, it’s easier to get a nice cup of tea,” he picked.

Further, the wicketkeeper was asked if he prefers dancing or singing. Karthik replied, “I am bad at both, but I guess… I don’t know. It’s very hard. I am bad at both”

Dinesh Karthik was also asked what will he do if he gets at the ability to read the minds of the people. He expressed that he would like to get into the mind of former India captain MS Dhoni.

“If I am given the ability to fly, I will fly to Alaska. I have heard great things about Alaska. If I am given the ability to read minds, then will definitely get into the mind of MS Dhoni,” Dinesh Karthik said.

A movie on my life, it’s a more fascinating process: Dinesh Karthik picks a movie on his life over a book

Dinesh Karthik stated that he prefers a movie being made about his life to a book being written about it. He reasoned, “Movie on my life. It’s a more fascinating process.”

In his comeback match, Dinesh Karthik did not get much opportunity to bat, as walked out to bat in the final over of the innings. The right-handed batter is likely to play the second T20I against South Africa on Sunday, June 12 at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
