Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli poked fun at his golden duck against the Rajasthan Royals in the 2023 Indian Premier League, in a viral video on social media. The video is from a Puma event, which was attended by Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. Several clips from the event have gone viral on social media among the fans of the couple.

In the video shared by Virat Kohli’s fan clubs, the veteran batter was asked about the best innings of his career. Responding to the question in a light-hearted manner, the cricketer responded, “Abhi last match”, indicating his golden duck against the Rajasthan Royals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The crowd burst into laughter, with Virat Kohli himself joining them.

The right-handed batter also playfully signalled zero to the crowd. Seeing the crowd laugh at his comment and the gesture, Virat Kohli jokingly said, “Sharam Karo” (Have some shame)”. Virat Kohli’s performance in the 2023 Indian Premier League

Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli put up a dazzling show in the 2023 Indian Premier League. He slammed two centuries in the season, one against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the second against the Gujarat Titans. The right-handed batter scored 639 runs at an average of 53.25, and a strike rate of 139.82.

The 2023 was his second most successful Indian Premier League season as a batter. His best came in 2016, when he slammed five centuries in a single season, scoring 973 runs. It still stands as a record for most runs in a season. Overall, Virat Kohli has 7263 runs in 237 matches, at an average of 37.25 in the tournament. His record includes seven centuries and fifty fifties in the Indian Premier League.
