Indian pace star Jasprit Bumrah took the crucial wicket of Travis Head, completing his five-wicket haul and giving India their sixth breakthrough on Day 2 (Sunday, December 15) of the third Test in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) at The Gabba, Brisbane.
The dismissal occurred on the fifth ball of the 87th over in Australia’s first innings. Bumrah bowled a full delivery outside off, and Head attempted a cover drive but only managed a thick outside edge, which flew to Rishabh Pant for an easy catch. This marked Bumrah’s 12th five-wicket haul in the Test cricket and his third against Australia.
