Delhi Capitals’ Jemimah Rodrigues pulled off a spectacular catch to dismiss UP Warriorz batter Chinelle Henry during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, February 22.
Henry was dismissed on the final ball of the innings after equaling the record for the fastest WPL fifty, reaching the milestone in just 18 balls. The right-handed batter smashed 62 runs off 23 deliveries at an astonishing strike rate of 269.56, hitting eight sixes and two fours.
Facing a fuller-length delivery from Jess Jonassen on middle and leg stump, Henry attempted a whip shot but failed to make proper contact. Positioned at mid-wicket, Rodrigues swiftly moved forward and dived to complete an impressive catch.
Chinelle Henry did most of the damage with the bat before getting out on the final delivery. Meanwhile, after her stunning catch, Jemimah Rodrigues will aim to make an impact with the bat. So far in the 2025 season, she has recorded scores of 2, 34, and 0 in her first three matches.

Chinelle Henry‘s impressive batting performance powered UP Warriorz to a competitive total against Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2025 clash. Led by Deepti Sharma, UPW put up 177/9 in 20 overs.
Alongside Henry, Tahlia McGrath contributed 24 off 23 balls, while Kiran Navgire, Deepti Sharma, Shweta Sehrawat, and Sophie Ecclestone also reached double figures. Jess Jonassen shone with the ball for Delhi, delivering an impressive spell of 4/31, while Marizanne Kapp and Arundhati Reddy claimed two wickets each.
Chasing a target of 178, the Capitals were 38/1 after 6.4 overs at the time of writing. Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues were at the crease, while skipper Meg Lanning was bowled by Kranti Goud for a run-a-ball 5.
Meanwhile, UPW are still in search of their first win of the season after suffering defeats against Gujarat Giants and Delhi by six and seven wickets, respectively. Their next match will be against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the same venue on Monday, February 24.
