Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada claimed the key wicket of Suryakumar Yadav during their IPL 2026 clash against Mumbai Indians at Narendra Modi Stadium on Monday, April 20. The fast bowler shattered the off and middle stumps of the right-hander just after conceding a six and a four at the start of the over.
The breakthrough came off a sharp 150 kmph delivery. Although it was pitched up, Yadav was undone by the sheer pace as he attempted a drive. The ball slipped through the gap between bat and pad and crashed into the stumps. Rabada celebrated energetically after the wicket, marking a strong comeback. Notably, it was the fifth time he has dismissed Yadav in T20 cricket.

Mumbai Indians Dominate Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026 Clash
Mumbai Indians delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2026 encounter on April 20 at Narendra Modi Stadium. The match saw Mumbai’s bowlers take control early, restricting Gujarat’s batting lineup and keeping the chase under pressure throughout.
The highlight of the innings was the disciplined bowling attack led by Jasprit Bumrah, who struck with the very first ball, setting the tone for the game. Gujarat’s top order, including Shubman Gill, failed to settle, losing wickets at regular intervals.
Despite a few attempts to rebuild the innings, Gujarat never gained momentum. Mumbai’s bowlers maintained tight lines and lengths, preventing any significant partnerships. In contrast, Mumbai’s batting unit played with confidence, chasing the target comfortably and sealing an important win.
The victory strengthens Mumbai’s position in the tournament, while Gujarat will look to regroup and improve their batting performance in the upcoming matches.
