On the last ball of the ninth over, Duckett played a scoop shot on delivery of Tom Hartley. Wicketkeeper Dane Vilas was quick to react and he tried to bring his hands in at the right time. However the ball touched his helmet and bounced towards his left hand side in the air which gave him another chance to catch the ball.
Vilas was quick to react and gave his best effort to reach the ball. In the end, Vilas dived forward to take this amazing catch. Lancashire teammates applauded this great effort of their Wicketkeeper. Ben Duckett too was shocked with this unlucky dismissal.
