Mukul Choudhary Emerges As Bright Spot In LSG’s Disappointing IPL 2026 Campaign

Mukul Choudhary has emerged as one of the most exciting young players of IPL 2026 with his fearless batting for Lucknow Super Giants. The 21-year-old grabbed attention with a sensational unbeaten 54 off 27 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders, smashing seven sixes to guide LSG to a thrilling last-ball win. That innings quickly made him one of the breakout stars of the season.

So far in IPL 2026, Mukul has played eight matches and scored 156 runs at an average of 31.20. His strike rate and aggressive intent in the middle order have added depth to the LSG batting unit. The youngster, bought for ₹2.6 crore at the auction, has impressed fans and experts with his calmness under pressure and powerful hitting ability.

However, LSG’s overall campaign has been disappointing. The team has already been eliminated from the playoff race despite having a strong squad. Inconsistent performances and failure to finish close matches hurt their chances throughout the tournament.

Still, Mukul’s emergence has been one of the biggest positives for the franchise this season and gives them hope for the future.
