[WATCH] Mahieka Sharma Shields Hardik Pandya’s Son From Paparazzi After MI vs KKR Clash

Hardik Pandya’s girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, was seen taking care of his five-year-old son Agastya and protecting him from paparazzi outside Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, March 29. They had come to watch the Mumbai Indians’ IPL 2026 opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

After the match, a lot of photographers gathered around them outside the stadium. Mahieka requested them not to use flashlights since she was with the child. She also asked people to make way, saying:

“Sir, Agastya ke sath hoon, thoda side dijiye (Sir, I am with Agastya, please move aside).”

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya’s team, the Mumbai Indians, won the match against Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets. They successfully chased a big target of 221 runs in just 19.1 overs. Openers Ryan Rickelton(81 runs off 43 balls) and Rohit Sharma (78 runs off 38 balls) played really well with the bat.

All-rounder Shardul Thakur was named Player of the Match for taking three wickets. It’s also important to note that the Mumbai Indians won their first match of the season after 13 years. The last time they won their opening game was in 2012, when they beat the Chennai Super Kings.

Rohit Sharma gave Mumbai Indians a strong start in the run chase with an excellent innings at the top. The former captain scored very quickly, at a strike rate of 205.26, hitting six sixes and six fours. Speaking after the match, Hardik Pandya praised Rohit’s innings. He also said that Rohit’s shot-making often leaves fans amazed.

“It’s a treat. I’ve seen batters play some terrific shots. But whenever I’ve seen Ro play some shots, I think it opens everyone’s mouth. So, nothing short of exceptional, nothing short of brilliant. And I’m so, so happy that Rohit played his knock.”

Hardik Pandya bowled three overs, gave away 39 runs, and took one wicket. He also stayed not out on 18 runs from 11 balls in the match. Next, the Mumbai Indians will play against the Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium in an afternoon match on Saturday, April 4.
