Mohammed Shami offered important guidance to the Jammu and Kashmir bowlers ahead of their maiden Ranji Trophy final. The side is set to take on eight-time champions Karnataka cricket team in the summit clash at the KSCA Cricket Ground in Hubballi from February 24.

Karnataka sealed their place in the final with a win over Uttarakhand cricket team in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir cricket team scripted history by advancing to their first-ever final, 16 years after entering the competition, following a six-wicket victory against Bengal cricket team at the Bengal Cricket Academy ground.

Ahead of the final, Board of Control for Cricket in India Domestic shared a video on X in which advice was given to J&K star Nabi, urging him to concentrate on hitting the stumps rather than worrying about the 22 yards. You can watch the video here:

โ€œThereโ€™s no problem; whether itโ€™s about swing, length, how fast to bowl, or which delivery to bowl, forget all that. Forget about the 22 yards; just focus on the stumps. Leave everything else aside. Donโ€™t worry about whatโ€™s happening where; if any issue comes up later, weโ€™ll deal with it then.
