[WATCH]- Mohammed Siraj Gets Comically Run Out In RCB vs DC IPL 2024 Match

Mohammed Siraj found himself in a comical run-out situation during the last ball of RCB’s innings in their IPL 2024 match against DC at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Cameron Green hit the ball towards the offside, aiming for two runs.

However, Siraj, unaware that the ball had returned to the bowler Khaleel Ahmed, attempted a third run. Khaleel quickly removed the bails, catching Siraj halfway down the pitch. The incident became a humorous highlight, spreading rapidly on social media platforms.

Siraj celebrates enthusiastically after his tricky delivery gets Kushagra out

Mohammed Siraj celebrated with a fiery appeal, reminiscent of Stuart Broad, in RCB’s important IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals in Bengaluru on Sunday (May 12). He bowled a brilliant delivery to dismiss Kumar Kushagra, who was filling in for the suspended Rishabh Pant, for just 2 runs off 3 balls.

Kushagra, who was bought by DC for a hefty INR 7.2 crore in this edition, carried high expectations. However, when his opportunity arrived, he couldn’t meet those expectations, though credit goes to Siraj for bowling an exceptional delivery.

It was a full delivery aimed at the middle, with Kushagra completely unaware of the ball angling towards the stumps. The ball struck his pad, and Siraj immediately knew he had his man. Almost instantly, the on-field umpire signalled out, with Siraj joining his RCB teammates in celebrating the crucial wicket.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are struggling to emulate their triumph from 2016, facing another unpredictable season.

Just like their shaky start in 2016, where they won their first match against SRH but then lost five out of their next six matches, IPL 2024 saw a similar pattern with RCB starting with a defeat against CSK, followed by a win against PBKS, and then six consecutive losses.
