MS Dhoni arrived in Dehradun ahead of Rishabh Pant’s sister Sakshi’s wedding. The Chennai Super Kings star was spotted at the airport with his wife, Sakshi, on March 11. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant returned from the UAE and traveled directly to Dehradun for the celebrations.

MS Dhoni has begun his training sessions in preparation for IPL 2025
Dhoni is expected to stay in Dehradun for a while to attend the wedding before heading to Chennai to resume training for IPL 2025. The iconic wicketkeeper-batter is set to feature in his 18th IPL season, this time as an ‘uncapped’ player for Chennai Super Kings.
CSK retained MS Dhoni as one of their five players ahead of the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Last season, he passed the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad but continued playing as a key team member. CSK narrowly missed out on a playoff spot in IPL 2024.

MS Dhoni and his team will be eager to deliver a stronger performance in IPL 2025, aiming to make Chennai Super Kings the first franchise to secure six IPL titles. CSK will kick off their campaign against Mumbai Indians at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 23.
Till now, both Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have won five IPL titles each, making them the most successful teams in IPL history.
