[WATCH] MS Dhoni Celebrates Ganesh Charuthi; Video Goes Viral

Former Indian player MS Dhoni celebrated the auspicious festival Ganesh Chaturthi after coming from vacation in the United States of America. He came in time for the occasion and joined the procession near the Maximum City’s Lands End Hotel in Mumbai on 21st September 2023.

MS Dhoni’s celebration was appreciated by the fans who enjoyed the occasion. He showered flower petals on Lord Ganesh.

The Ganpati will be observed from the 19th to the 28th of September. The celebration will end on 28th September with the Ganesh Visarajan. It is a huge event, especially in Mumbai where celebrities, cricketers, and common people celebrate this occasion with zeal.

MS Dhoni is a religious person who believes in god. After winning the 2011 World Cup, he shaved his head as hair was offered to Balaji Temple in Tirupati. It was a magical moment as the Indian team won the World Cup after a gap of 28 years. MS Dhoni played captain knock coming ahead of Yuvraj Singh scoring an unbeaten 91 and hitting the winning shot helping Team India to register a memorable win.

MS Dhoni led India to three ICC Trophies

Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the inaugural edition of the World Cup 2007. They then showed their class by winning the 2011 World Cup played in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The finals between India and Sri Lanka were held in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on 2nd April 2011. India then won the Champions Trophy title in 2013 where MS Dhoni and Co defeated England in rain curtailed encounter.

MS Dhoni was on vacation with his family in the United States of America. He saw the US Open quarterfinals match between Alcarez and Zverev during his time in the stay. MS Dhoni’s video of playing golf with Donald Trump also went viral.

The legendary cricket helped Chennai Super Kings to win the 5th IPL title defeating Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. He showed his class with some lovely cameos. He was struggling in the tournament with a knee injury. After the finals, Dhoni had surgery and will look to come back for one final season next year.
