[WATCH] MS Dhoni Drives A Glossy Black Mercedes With A 0007 Number Plate; Video Gone Viral

MS Dhoni, the ex-Indian captain, was recently observed behind the wheel of a black Mercedes G Class bearing a 0007 number plate. The footage has gained widespread attention on social media.

Dhoni’s last on-field appearance was in IPL 2023, where he guided the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their fifth championship, tying with the Mumbai Indians (MI) for the most IPL titles.

Dhoni led a young bowling unit to victory against the IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final in May. Subsequently, he underwent knee surgery in Mumbai after the IPL final and has been in the process of recuperation.

During his break from cricket, he has been spotted enjoying drives and rides, as well as traveling with his family. A fan posted a video on X ( previously known as Twitter), providing a recent glimpse of MS Dhoni driving a black Mercedes car. You can watch the video here:

“I believe Ruturaj Gaikwad is going to take over”- Ravichandran Ashwin comments on the possible CSK captaincy post MS Dhoni

Ravichandran Ashwin suggests that Ruturaj Gaikwad could potentially take on the role of CSK captain after MS Dhoni decides to step down.

Ashwin suggested that CSK might consider Ben Stokes as a potential captain due to his extensive international experience. However, the Englishman was released by the franchise after he withdrew from IPL 2024.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Ashwin stated:

“The holes that CSK will try to fill are ones of captaincy, which I believe Ruturaj Gaikwad is going to take over, as Ambati Rayudu said in his latest interview.”

”Ben Stokes, too, was taken by CSK on the same philosophy of playing an able right hand. Needless to say, he is a quality leader, and CSK is a team that values experience.”

He also predicts that CSK is likely to make a bid for Shardul Thakur during the mini-auction. Ashwin added:

“I think they’ll go back to Shardul and get their combination back.”
