Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was recently seen enjoying a drive in one of his prized cars during his post-IPL 2025 break. Known widely for his passion for automobiles and bikes, Dhoni hit the streets in his Army-styled Hummer. The SUV, bearing the registration number JH01 AB 7781, caught plenty of attention.
The vehicle’s body now showcases striking visuals of helicopters, fighter jets, tanks, and soldiers, reflecting his admiration for the Armed Forces. As reported by The Times of India, Dhoni originally purchased the Hummer back in 2009, but it has since been revamped with a unique and patriotic design.
Dhoni’s bond with the Indian Army is also well recognized. In 2011, the ex-India captain was conferred the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army. A fan recently shared a video on X showing Dhoni cruising in his Hummer.

After IPL 2025, MS Dhoni has been making the most of his break while also focusing on maintaining his fitness. Supporters are eagerly awaiting his comeback with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2026. Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the franchise had retained Dhoni for ₹4 crore under the ‘uncapped’ player category.
Will MS Dhoni Play For CSK In IPL 2026?
MS Dhoni remains one of the most iconic figures in world cricket and the IPL. As one of the most successful leaders, he has guided Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to five championship titles. Yet, it still isn’t clear if the CSK legend will feature in IPL 2026. At a recent event, Dhoni mentioned that he requires a little more time before making a final decision about his future.
“I don’t know whether I’ll play or not. I have time to decide. And I have some time until December, so I’ll take another couple of months, and then finally, I can make my decision,” he was quoted as saying by NDTV Sports.
