[WATCH]- MS Dhoni Enjoys The Birthday Party Of His Friend

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni was seen celebrating a friend’s birthday. He was last spotted during the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, in which he played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The cricket legend resigned the captaincy right before IPL 2024 began, transferring the leadership to Ruturaj Gaikwad. Throughout the season, he batted lower in the order and contributed crucial cameos for CSK. Over 14 games, Dhoni scored 161 runs with an impressive strike rate of 220.55.

A friend of MS Dhoni shared glimpses of the birthday bash on Instagram, revealing that the famous Indian cricketer was in attendance.

“He could effortlessly join an Australian dressing room and lead the team without any difficulty”- Matthew Hayden on MS Dhoni

Former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden currently shared his thoughts at the qualities that make MS Dhoni an ideal captain. He believed that Dhoni should have effortlessly led a celebrity-studded Australian team due to his humility and team- first mentality.

In an interview with Sports Vikatan, Hayden stated:

“Dhoni is exactly what I was saying before. He can easily sit in an Australian dressing room and easily captain it because he believes that he is not bigger than anyone else. He’ll collect bags, he’ll throw cricket balls. He’s just a very humble individual. And he works hard at the team and not on promoting Dhoni.”

The former CSK opener further continued:

“You’ll never hear him telling people how great he is or what he’s achieved. That is Dhoni’s X-factor. You look at Australia and go ’25 million people. How did they win the World Cup against us?’ Dhoni… he just finds a way to galvanize people together and does it in a way that is nothing about ego, not about self-promotion.”

Matthew Hayden achieved beneath MS Dhoni’s leadership at Chennai Super Kings for 3 seasons from 2008 to 2010. In 32 fits, the left-hander accrued 1107 runs at an average of 36.90, which covered 8 half-centuries.
