[WATCH]- MS Dhoni Smashes The Longest Six Of IPL 2024

MS Dhoni, renowned as one of the premier finishers in cricket, showcased his prowess once again in a crucial match against RCB at Chinnaswamy Stadium. He scored a quickfire 25 runs off just 13 balls, including a colossal six in the last over against Yash Dayal, sending the ball soaring 110 meters out of the ground.

With CSK needing 17 runs from the final over to secure a playoff spot, MS Dhoni found himself at the crease alongside Jadeja. Dayal’s first delivery, a friendly full toss on middle and leg, proved disastrous as Dhoni managed to pull it despite not hitting the ball cleanly, sending it over fine leg and beyond the stadium roof.

This reduced the requirement to 11 runs from 5 deliveries, but MSD was dismissed on the following ball. Then, Yash Dayal demonstrated remarkable composure to guide RCB to the playoffs. On the contrary, CSK has been eliminated, and it remains uncertain whether this match marked MSD’s final appearance or not.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured a spot in the 2024 IPL playoffs by holding Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to under 200 runs at M Chinnaswamy in their final league match of the season.

In the last over, Yash Dayal had 17 runs to defend. Although MS Dhoni started with a massive 110-meter six, Dayal quickly responded by taking Dhoni’s wicket. In the next four balls, Dayal displayed remarkable composure, conceding only a single run and ensuring RCB finished in fourth place.
